I really, really like Black Desert Online. Whoops, sorry, it’s actually “Black Desert” now. But we all still call it “BDO” for short :)

I had certainly heard of the game for many years, perhaps even since its launch in North America. (The game was originally released in South Korea.) But I finally took the plunge in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, and my breath was taken away.

I am dead serious when I say that one of the primary motivations for building my current Windows gaming rig is to play Black Desert in its full quality. This game is drop-dead gorgeous and I wish everyone had the computational capabilities to experience the game as the developers had clearly intended.
