Geneve 9640
The Geneve 9640 is a clone and upgrade of the TI 99-4/A, released in 1987 by a company called Myarc. In my perspective, it is one of the most obscure – yet oddly compelling – computers of all time. To this day, it remains well outside of the current retrocomputing zeitgeist despite the popularity of the TI-99.
The only people I ever see who even mention the Geneve are, as far as I can tell, just the die-hard fans who are actively working on it. These are the folks who’ve been in the scene from the very beginning.
Even though most discussion surrounding the Geneve happens in one place (the AtariAge Forums), the actual information and/or software you’re looking for is rather spread out and difficult to track down. I’ve created this page to help newcomers get situated.
