Overview
hloberg is a user on AtariAge. Although AtariAge is primarily used as a forum, hloberg uses the site’s blogging feature to share their Geneve projects.
Their most notable work is the “Full Geneve package,” which has seen several updates. It’s a handy distribution of the MAME emulator bundled with a big, curated collection of Geneve software. As of this writing, the most recent version is from August 2025.
Note that their post actually just a pointer to the TI-99 Resources website.
On the TI-99 Resources website, the actual package itself can be found under “MAME Setup Packages”. It’s a Zip file that’s been uploaded to Google Drive.

There are numerous appeals to this package:
- It’s huge. Everything’s already there and it Just Works.
- MAME has already been configued. Just run the batch script and you’re on your way.
There are some disadvantages, though:
- The included launcher script only work on Windows.
- The package might include too much software, depending on your goals.
Earlier versions
In case you’re interested, here are prior versions of the package.
